considering there roll on the website has become much more hands on then when they designed this, I wouldn't be surprised if many of the functions are eventually implemented into the website as a standard rather then an extension. I think there are.... 3? Programmer types on staff now which I imagine is helpful to Kira who I think was working single handed for a long time.

Yup, 3 people are doing coding right now. Kira is doing infrastructure and programming. bitWolfy obviously also knows how to code though the way I understood it is that their primary role is doing aliases and implications as you can see from the activity in the forum. I myself am just here to code.

bitWolfy has already added a few things from their userscript like the new DText preview and a few bugfixes were also already integrated. You might have noticed the new post flag page which they also did. The plan is to slowly move functionality into the main site where it makes sense for everyone.

Recommendations or customized feeds probably won't happen though. This was functionality in Danbooru which e6 is based on but it was deliberatly disabled. You can still do it with userscripts and the like, it just won't make it's way into the site itself.
