Topic: How do I reupload a removed image from an artist who is no longer DNP?

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

I'm trying to post this piece by hhazard, who went DNP a few years ago but who recently allowed posting again. I can't post it because it says it's a duplicate of post #1805320, and there doesn't seem to be a way to avoid this. Is there a certain process for reuploading removed posts once they're allowed again?

I think you need to send a message to admin NMNY asking for a undeletion of the post. I'm not sure if they're going to undelete everything that was takedown or just the post you're trying to repost. But yep, they're the one handling takedowns so just ask them and see what happens.

ya what sieghelm said, only post undeleting is an applicable course of action. posts that are deleted are still stored in the archive so re-posting isn't necessary or allowed.

Thanks, I'll try that

An artist has to request their previously taken down artwork to be reinstated when they remove themselves from dnp, otherwise the posts will stay deleted. I was in a similar situation with xenoforge a month ago but after telling them they asked for their posts to be made visible again.
