Aliasing footplay → foot_fetish

Reason:

Not 100% sure, but if there's foot play involved does that really mean there's a foot fetish present? I know we can't tag intent/other unseeable things, but I feel like tagging things *fetish might just be the wrong way to go. If there's an image of a guy playing with boobs, it doesn't qualify as breastfetish.

But, that being said, if "footfetish" is what most people would call an image of a guy getting a foot_job, then by all means go ahead. I'm not familiar with that usage, but I wouldn't be surprised. Just making sure we use proper terminology!

Even being overly focused on breasts isn't considered having a fetish by most people. Not any more than having a "pussy fetish" or a "cock fetish" because it isn't maladaptive (in an extremely broad sense of the word).

I never really liked the tag foot_fetish but it makes a useful hub for footjob and other geneal interaction with the foot. However, I'm not sure where footplay falls in with this since it's widely underused (12 posts), but at first glance it seems to folow the same sort of definition. I'd like someone with more knowledge on the subject to chime in here if possible (I'm not really a foot person).

I'm not a foot person, but I'd assume that footplay is same kind of a tag as foodplay, breathplay and sizeplay: an umbrella tag for the fetish.

Which makes it redundant with foot_fetish. I think it could be aliased away.

(And now I wonder if foodplay should also be aliased to food_fetish...)

I have a little bit of a thing for feet. As far as I know, footplay and foot_fetish are the same thing. But I don't actually look it up very often, so if there's some kind of difference in how the terms are used...well a quick google doesn't seem to indicate it. I think we'd probably be fine aliasing them together.

However, there are several different food_fetishes.

foodplay is only one type, usually focused on spreading some kind of edible substance on a person's body and/or eating/licking it off of them for sexual/kinky satisfaction. Things like whipped cream or other desert toppings are common. But it could literally be any type of food mixed with any body part or sexual act. In this case it's more about mixing food and sex - literally. Not about consumption except maybe for the sensory value or novelty. Sometimes it's not even eaten, just rubbed around for the sensations and exoticness.

However, there's at least two other common types of food fetishism: feederism and stuffing. (They're probably known by other terms as well, and they can often complement each other in a similar way to how s&m do.) But basically, feederism is sexual festishizing feeding someone, often combined with kinks about weight gain as a result of the feederism. It obviously requires more than one participant and it's about the enjoyment of the person who's feeding someone else or getting that other person to eat more (often with a goal towards causing weight gain, and often combined with other weight kinks).

Then there's stuffing, which is more about the enjoyment of the person doing the eating. They may get sexual enjoyment from the act of eating, from the act of being fed, or from the full feeling and internal pressure of a full stomach, or from anticipating the weight gain (again it can often combine with other weight related kinks). Both of these are focused on consuming the food, not playing with it. (though of course, someone could have both types of food fetishes, but the kinks themselves are different.)

So I don't think foodplay and food_fetish should be aliased. Though I could see ample reason to make food_fetish an umbrella tag for those and implicate foodplay to it.
