Topic: How do I exclude posts with two tags?

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

How to find posts so that those that are NOT shown simultaneously with two tags, but separately these two tags are shown? Let's say I want to search for posts with both multiple characters and one character of a certain gender. Derpibooru implements this as, for example, ts - (solo, male). As a result, posts with many characters and posts with solo are displayed, but only without the male tag. on e621 I want to find posts by tags sergal -male / male -female / female -intersex and if you write minus -solo, then all posts with the solo tag are excluded, and I need to exclude posts where there are both solo and male tags, but other posts with the solo tag were not touched

Sorry for the English, I used a translator

From what I know there isn't a way to do that and this is a question that get asked every now and then. Maybe there's a workaround to do something like that in one of these threads.

Best you can do is blacklist the duo combination. Say your two tags are cat and dog, you could blacklist cat dog on the same line to only blacklist images that contain both. This won't help much if you only want them to not be paired together with that one search, as you'd have to constantly permit the duo when you aren't running that search, or else remove and add it frequently to your blacklist. At best, you might be able to find a custom-code to make it so that individual blacklist items remember being permitted.
