Hmmm... Tentatively against. I wouldn't know what arm_support is for just looking at the tag, but I immediately know what leaning_on_elbow is.

This makes me even more surprised that arm_support is the one with 1000+ posts tagged with it.

Maybe it's just me? Lol

I'm against using arm_support at all, it's really vague and I can't see where it would differ from leaning on elbow in practice (except maybe also referring to arm chairs—I don't know if it's used like this). If that is what you mean it isn't just you.

I don't like the arm_support tag either, I prefer the leaning tags.

What about images such as these, though?:

Arm support seems to fit those, I can't think of an another tag to use.

Could reclining be used for the second one? Not sure about the first one though, arm_support does appear to be the perfect tag for it. I'd use leaning_back for the third.

Maybe I'm weird, but a tag like leaning_on_hand seems the most logical choice.

I agree a leaning_on variant would be ideal, but it's not as if I came up with arm_support.
The reason leaning_on_elbow has relatively few uses is that it's brand new! 99% of those I separated out from hand_on_chin to populate it.
