So I've been gone for like.. I dunno. few months.

I recently qualified to become a preschool teacher. I'm going on a bit further to work in the mental disability field, so I can work with children who have down syndrome and autism.

Oh and I'm still cancer free. I'm pretty healthy save for the times that I forget to take medication and I get very lightheaded.

So yeah! Merry Christmas and I'll catch up with my favourite furries soon. Stay safe and if you see anyone on f-list who talks about Dave in a dirty manner, it's probably me.

Congrats on qualifying on becoming a preschool teacher, doing an internship for the same position myself, seems like a decent profession so far.

Honestly, I'd recommend it to anyone who love kids (not in the pedophile sense. come on.) and would want to work with them. IT'S SO FULFILLING.

And my bedroom walls are all decorated with stuff the kids I teach have given me. They're so precious.

I have received 67 paintings.

You gotta come here to Australia then. Men are definitely needed here. Whilst that prejuice is there. People look over that and when they see you interacting how you do then, that is when parents will be happy.

It's very female dominated though, which is a pity.

It's a pretty fun job, tho stressful.
The kids really like having me around as a teacher, my main colleagues as well.
I'd probably go for an education in order to get full employment, but all the prejudice and condescending bs has already scared me away.

Wow, both Patchi and Peekaboo are aspiring to work with kids? I do too but I felt so weird about saying anything, pretty much just because I thought that people would get all judgmental and cry pedophile.

Your a tougher than me that's for sure. The only way you could get me stay in a room with 15 or so little kids is if I was handed a wad of cash and bottle of hard liquor, (and I don't even drink!)
