If you can see them, you should tag them. It doesn't matter if they're in the background, out of focus or blurred, as long as you can make them out. You tag what you can see, so tagging the machoke and feraligatr was correct.

Someone with a relatively new account, and only one tag edit, is not an authority on tagging.
Watsit is entirely correct. It does not matter if the character is blurred or in the background, you should tag them anyways.

...And to be frank, anyone who tries to give you advice while calling you an "idiot" is not worth hearing out.
