Aliasing lonelycross → zero-sum
Link to aliasReason:
Same artist
... what. Is there any proof for this? Their art looks nothing alike and I'm pretty sure FoxInShadow is not the one behind lonelycross / Inky.
Can we undo this alias? ._.

I don't know anything about these particular artists, but based on this it does look like they were mistakingly aliased (either that or they are really good at covering their tracks).

Anybody who intentionally keeps their accounts separate should be considered separate artists, anyways.

- zero-sum - Female, Australia.
That seems to be an unrelated page, the zero-sum alias refers to this: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/5638095/
Which is FoxInShadow's FA by the look of it. (Zero-Sum is a reference to Nine Inch Nails which Fox is a huge fan of afaik.)
So the zero-sum alias - while kinda unnecessary imho - is okay.
Just don't understand the lonelycross alias.
e.g.
No similarity as far as I can tell.

Alright, it looks like foxinshadow and the zero-sum who was on furaffinity are actually the same according to here and then confirmed here .
However, this other zero-sum from DA is obviously someone different. Which doesn't help the confusion: Two artists, same name, different sites. Though since the zero-sum from DA doesn't have many pictures and only two are furry enough for here and it's unlikely they'd be uploaded here...so it might not cause any problems to just leave that one for now. If they do get added, then that tag is going to need differentiated somehow and the alias adjusted. Maybe zero-sum_(FA) and zero-sum_(DA) if it becomes an issue, but seems unnecessary for now.
But I can't see anything that linked lightchaol/lonelycross/lonelyinky/talkingfornothing with either version of "zero-sum" so that should never have been passed. I'm going to undo that one right now and thank you Emserdalf for catching it and bringing it to our attention.
Though anyone who wants to help with cleaning up the zero-sum tag and retagging lonelycross/etc's artwork with lonelycross instead of zero-sum would be appreciated. There's a lot of images under that zero-sum tag that will need to be doublechecked now.
ETA: hold that thought. Even though the alias was deleted, it's acting glitched and not letting things be changed yet. I'm going to see about getting that fixed. And cleanup can't happen until it's fixed.

Should I tag the zero-sum posts that are by Inky with "lightchaol" as that one's not aliased? Just so that they can be found/fixed after the alias is removed.
Also a bunch of inky's stuff was uploaded by Inkysporncorner
(but not all of it)
Edit: And every post of inkie_pie_(mlp) under the zero-sum tag is actually by Inky too: inkie_pie_(mlp) zero-sum
pinkie_pie_(mlp) zero-sum -glasses -pink_theme -rating:s is another bunch of Inky stuff; fox's stuff already filtered out. (plus post #206007 also by Inky)

Sounds like the zero-sum tag needs cleaning up. Maybe separate it to zero-sum_(furaffinity) and zero-sum_(deviant_art)?

The deviantart one probably hasn't been uploaded here (though it might be), that was actually my error.

Yeah I don't think that one is an issue so far, let's first sort out the lonelycross/zero-sum posts.

Alright, it's fixed now. So yeah, go ahead and remove the zero-sum tag from any of Inky's stuff, and tag them with lonelycross instead. If you find an image that refuses to let you edit it, let me know. But it should behave now.
ETA: Ok, I think I got all the ones you pointed out retagged. And then went through and looked in the tag history for any which looked liked lonelycross's style to see if they used to be tagged with that tag, and restored the ones that were. So most of them should have the correct artist tag now. And again, thank you for catching this and bringing it up.
I'm also going to alias a few of lonelycross's other names to themselves since we don't need them to be separate and I noticed they do occasionally get used and it would simplify things for the future. So lightchaol to --> lonelycross and inkysporncorner to --> lonelycross, etc.

Nice! I took a look at the post lists under the respective tags and it all looked correct. Let's hope we didn't miss anything.
So on the posts itself the number next to the artist's tag still says 261 for zero-sum and 0 for lonelycross, is that still bugged or will that update itself soon?

That part usually updates itself about a day later when the system does maintenance. So in about a day or so, it should show the correct number for both of them.
