Yes but some people could just want to see pictures with funny dialog, I can see the fourth wall being broken therefore I can tag so,
The implication is obvious because both tags are used in the same manner.

But what's the difference?
Most pics tagged as fourth wall count as breaking it: if the characters are aware of it, it's broken. And the rest probably shouldn't have that tag at all.

From what I can see, fourth_wall should be aliased to breaking_the_fourth_wall. (Since the latter is more widely used.)

I'd agree with this on both points.

I was thinking the same.

Approved as an alias going this way: fourth_wall to --> breaking_the_fourth_wall. Aliased because, by definition, if the characters are at all aware of the existence of the fourth wall, then it is being broken.
