Topic: Bulk uploaders for mobile?

Posted under General

I have this similar query if Postybirb has a mobile version. So far, they still don't have a mobile version.

Rather than necroing it, I'd like to start a new thread and expand this whether there are any other mass uploaders that are as good as Postybirb, and if they have mobile versions, in case I upload them on mobile.

Last time I checked, postybirb was basically the only available tool like this.

Also I have no idea who in their right mind wants to do stuff like this with their phone? I would also imagine getting to appstore is near impossibility, so this would make the app android sideload only, which kinda lessens the desire to do that, because so many artists being from america and america having higher than avarage amount of Apple products compared to rest of the world.

Some people like me are using tablets with pressure-sensitive styluses, and who knows who uploads their artworks with their phone. Coming from experience, it's a hassle to upload my work on multiple sites on a tablet, when I neither have the time nor the mood to upload them by computer. So, it's still a bummer that Postybirb and other related apps don't have a mobile version yet; let alone a tablet version.

I don't really think there's any alternatives to Postybirb in general, yet alone for mobile. Most people I know who have taken a serious interest in an art career have usually invested in a PC, so I'm not sure if mobile/tablet users are a niche market or not in comparison.

Like Mairo said, it'll probably not be approved for any app stores so it'll be Android only because Apple hate freedom. Ruling Apple out as a possibility for the app is a huge deal breaker considering that the majority of people who use a phone/tablet for art are probably using an iPad.

As an alternative to an app, a web-based service would probably work out fine apart from the fact the developer then has server expenses and it'll probably end up being monetised at some point.

Yeah, I could see some web service being possibility, but it would have to be monetized.

Also you can just use one of cloud services to automatically upload material to your computer and then use remote desktop to do uploading (Teamviewer, Steam Remote Play, etc.). I have started to use remote play whenever I need to do something on my computer but I'm outside with only my phone.
