Topic: Inconsistent tagging: re, "taur" and "feral" tags

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

I've noticed that most taurs are not tagged with the "feral" tag unless there is an actual feral in the image with them. However, there are a number of exceptions. Are taurs considered innately "feral" on E621?

no, taurs are taurs, and can fluxuate between being either humanoid or anthro depending on their upper body.
(though there isn't a classification for humanoid_taur or anthro_taur though there really bloody should be)

Thank you. I didn't want to jump into making tag edits on multiple images without checking. As I said, "feral" isn't usually linked with "taur" on E621 but there are a number of taur images with no other creature that are in fact tagged with "feral". It should be easy enough to fix.

Check the taur wiki. This is answered in the second paragraph. The reason for that is that if they were considered to belong in category such as feral, it'd no longer be possible to search for taur feral, etc.

Humanoid_taur exists, but is barely tagged.
