Hey there. I've been a long time lurker here in e621 but I've posted several of my art here in the site for some years now. I just now noticed that four of my posted art has been removed in the site without even notifying me as to the reasons why. I dunno, I just wanted to know why is that so I can either move on or perhaps ask to get it reposted. Thanks in advance.

Assuming you are lemonscent/Bernd Geiger I'm getting kind of confused, as it implies both you and the presumed owner of the only other character were already aware of these posts from day one, but these four posts are the only ones of either lemonscent or alex_marx to be hit by this specific takedown and if you had a falling-out with the other character owner I'd have expected you to know about it already.

You may also want to link your account to the artist name, if there's some way to do that. Art that's uploaded by the artist isn't normally taken down by a third-party/character owner, the character owner would need to contact you to request a takedown on it, and I would guess the one who deleted it didn't realize you were the artist.

If you are the artist and you want those pieces to stay up regardless, you might be able to contact the head admin (NotMeNotYou) to ask about getting them restored.

I honestly am not aware at all since I was not even contacted nor given any message in the first place. I do not know if both me abd the character owner not talking that much these days is considered a falling out but if it is.... then dayum, thats kind of hits me you know.

All in all, I am asking since I am just totally clueless and have no idea where to go ask hence why I am here.

Mmmm... I do want for the four of it to stay up but perhaps there is a deeper reason why it was taken down. Perhaps I need to ask the owner her reasons why the axe was given when I was given the okay signal to post all of it both in FA and here.

pretty sure that if you can prove you're the artist you can request the posts be undeleted by contacting Notmenotyou You would just need to prove you're the artist

As of the post above you the bigger issue our OP is concerned with is whether the other character owner stopped being okay with the images.

Personally I can't shake the feeling that something fishy is going on. There's (likely rightfully) so little transparency in takedowns that it's hard for someone at the member-level to tell just how much verification goes into checking that someone submitting a character-based (as opposed to artist-based) takedown is who they say they are.

the takedown is even classified as a character takedown. I think that it's possible that the site didn't know that the user is the artist (if they are) which is why I explained how to request posts be undeleted should they wish it, as content posted by artists over rule commissioner takedown requests I'm pretty sure, reading the takedowns I've noticed quite a view times where the site informs the person who submitted the takedown request the artist uploaded it, and to talk to said artist about it if they would like it taken down.
