Therefore a small question here
in this post post #2060991 aren't knotting knot_fucking anal and anal_penetration wrong. All these should be removed and only the ambigious_penetration should be added right?

knot_fucking and knotting are fine, as he pulls out for a while, then shoves back in, so you can see he's got a knot, and he's putting it in her.

However, you are correct that anal_penetration is inappropriate.

First thanks for the reply and info.
But you can't see the knotting and even if you expect the knotting why than knot_fucking if you expect him to be knotted until the scene where the girl stands up a bit and you see the knot. Because it's a loop?
Or why knotting if you expect the thrusts to be knot_fucking?
It's imo not inapropriate to expect knotting here but also not convincing enough and not intended (see child of this) to be knot_fucking or knotting. You also can compare to this post #1962473 where I would readily accept knot_fucking.

I hope it doesn't sound like I just really want to remove those tags from the post. I want to get more info about this to edit appropriatly in the future

The knotting tag implies the knot staying in for a period of time, while knot_fucking implies the knot does not stay in and is continually pushed in and out (at least twice).

But it is possible like knot_fucking till climax and afterwards being knotted or something similar. So here are some I'm not so sure about. Here and there some pointers would be appreciated

Sure, sometimes it's possible to have both, but generally it's not.

I wouldn't tag post #2128753 post #2170867 or post #2168171 as knotting, since the knot is not kept in for very long and it's otherwise part of a continuous in-and-out action for the knot. I'm unsure about post #2086896... if I had to say, I might say no, but I could see it either way.

Certainly not knot_fucking. Technically I guess it might qualify as knotting since the knot is inserted just once and held there for a bit as they cum, then pulled out once afterward. That's getting into "inaccurate knotting" territory.

Knot going in, staying at least a bit of time inside = knotting.
Knot coming out = knot_pullout.
Knot going in and out repeatedly = knot_fucking.

A sequence can contain both knot_fucking and knotting. But if there is only knot_fucking, knotting shouldn't be added.
So if there is only one action, you can't have both.

And knot_fucking and knot_pullout are supposed to be video/animated images tags but people are now applying them to static images too.
