Lately I've been seeing an issue with image descriptions. On this image for example, the entire description was placed in a collapsed [section][/section] box, despite the description being only a couple lines and the description box itself already being a collapsable section. It's not only redundant (the description section containing a sub-section that contains the description), wasting space (extra padding all around the text), and not looking nice (extra element layers creating visual noise)... if the section isn't tagged expanded, which the ones I'm seeing aren't, it also essentially forces the description to be collapsed, defeating the purpose of users having an option in their preferences to show descriptions by default.
I don't know if it's some tool that imports and auto-formats descriptions like this, but I'd like to ask if this is something that should be avoided or discouraged. Since I'm a nobody that hasn't even been around/signed up for a year, I'd prefer to get a mod's or someone's opinion on this before going around and asking uploaders if they could change how they upload.
