Images are no longer showing up. "Posts" is completely blank. In the place of avatars on comment sections it's a white box with black text that says "Placeholder Image." Nothing shows up under upload. However, if I go to "Changes" it shows people are still actively doing things.

Solution: Go into browser settings, privacy and security, then clear browsing data. Clear the "Cached images and files" specifically.

What's your system/OS/browser? This seems to happen as a result of inadequate or problematic javascript support, but shouldn't generally be an issue if your device or system isn't far out of date.

PC, Windows 10 and Opera. The site was working fine earlier today then just blanked out. Friend confirmed it's working fine for him. Updated Java manually just in case and that didn't do anything. Restarted my computer just in case. Turned off all my browser extensions. Even opened the site in Explorer and it was the same deal.

Edit: So it doesn't work in Opera or Explorer, but it seems to work in Firefox.

Javascript isn't Java, nor does it use Java, so updating Java shouldn't affect anything either for better or worse.
Blame whoever named it for that terribly confusing state of affairs.

(they are not altogether unrelated .. some parts of JS intentionally mimic Java, but no parts of the two systems interact directly)

I'm using Windows and Opera, and having the same problem.

The site does work in Microsoft Edge, though.

I have the same problem too. Im using my phone atm and when I open up this site on Chrome, nothing shows up but this site works in my phone's default browser

Posts page console showed 3 errors, although the 3rd one was just telling me an ad was blocked. Turning off my ad-blockers showed the banner ad and gave a cookie notification about cross-site security regarding Chrome or something.

That's actually fascinating. Perhaps the problem isn't with insufficient javascript support after all. The script files aren't even reaching you.
The chross-site security notification is normal. That's the ad provider setting its cookies, I believe.

Is it possible that you have an extension / browser feature that's blocking javascript files?
Also, does this file load for you?

Same thing happening here, the only way I can actually get the website to work properly is to use incognito on google chrome. I am not using any extensions, or add-ons. I've turned everything off, and still nothing works. Not sure why this is happening.

Alright, so this worked for Opera too. Specifically, clearing the "Cached images and files" only. No idea why.

I can't view any images or videos. Everything is just squeezed down to empty rectangular boxes with their proper outline colors. Once I go to the image itself, also nothing

Yeah I’m also having issues. Can’t see or load images or posts. /edit it came back after a few minutes
