Topic: Tag Alias: muyu -> sayame -> saucy

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

I apologise if I'm doing this wrong, I haven't done it before.

These are all different names for the same artist. Muyu is described as their main account on Furaffinity, Sayame is their old/doodles account, and Saucy is their commissions account. They are known as Saucy on Inkbunny, SoFurry, and Weasyl.

I think you should make two separate threads. One for muyu -> saucy and one for sayame -> saucy.

Don't worry about it Poke, you did good.

It usually helps if you link to the tags themselves, and then put reason separate. As an example, it can be done like this.

Aliasing: muyu -> saucy
Aliasing: sayame -> saucy

Reason: Saucy is his most commonly used name, and the newest one as well. [Not sure about this reason myself, since you mentioned Muyu is their main account]

You can link to a tag wiki page by putting double squared brackets (which looks like this [ ] ) on both sides of the tag, see examples above.
If you use braces (which looks like this { } ) instead, E621 will create a search for the tag(s) included within the braces, as so sex straight

You should use the alias and implication creation tools, instead of creating the threads manually: https://e621.net/tag_alias/new.

Generally, one thread is enough for artist nicknames. You can suggest one alias, then edit the opening to list their other nicks. Though creating separate threads makes it easier for the admins.

Wha...? I'm surprised you made it to Privileged status and never knew that. Then again, I don't know just what leads to that status to begin with, so who am I to talk?

Way I learned it was just to create a regular forum thread and write the alias and reason yourself.
Done so for every single Tagging thread I've done. Wish someone informed be about that page years earlier.
