I hate the stuff and I have it blacklisted, but if it gets past my list because you don't bother tagging it, it defeats the point in having a blacklist feature in the first place.

not really a forum discussion, if it slips threw your blacklist you can either tag it your self to the missed posts, or kindly ask the poster to include the missed tags in future.

Alternatively, you could just use MLP -feral to blacklist all MLP post that are not tagged feral. Et cetera for the rest of your desired tags, - tags in your blacklist exclude posts that have the - tag. you can avoid both posts that have and don't have anthro tagged with the above example; the only downside is that if the post doesn't have any of the tags you included with a - in your blacklist line, it'll be blacklisted too.

If you need more help with your blacklist, feel free to ask. In this case, though, we can't force people to tag anthro on their posts. You'd have to wait for people to tag it for them, or tag it yourself so you'll know your blacklist will work.

I think they're talking about anthro MLP posts not being tagged MLP, rather than not wanting to see anthros when looking for MLP art.

I have a blacklist for MLP for a reason.

That can just as easily be interpreted as a "blacklist for MLP" searches, as it can be a "blacklist for MLP" altogether. Considering that they are using the words MLP and Anthro together, I can only give advice if they want (to avoid) both...

Look at their tag history. It's almost entirely just adding missing anthro tags on mlp posts. So this is not about missing mlp tag, this is about missing anthro tags

The forums aren't really the best place to rant about this. I think people on the forums are probably generally better taggers than the average user.

Also it's not really great to rant about this in general. If you're able to be polite about it, you could nicely request users who you frequently see missing the tag on upload try to remember it, but you've got to recognize that (1) it's a request, not an order, and they don't need to listen, and (2) if you're not able to be polite about it you're likely to just make the problem worse.

I've had success with this in the past requesting people remember, for instance, the 3d_(artowrk) tag. Usually if you're nice about it they'll respond kindly in return. But also it seems like a lot of people can't manage that very well so I'm always reluctant giving this advice to other people.

I think that most of uploaders doesn't look at the forum.

Would sound better.

Can somebody explain to me how to apply the blacklist, every time i put something in it vanishes after i change the webpage. there appears to be no apply button in the settings menu... I would like to blacklist similar ideas but I don't understand how the blacklist is applied or settings for that matter. Also if this is the wrong thing sorry i can't find a way to make a post either...

There should be a floating "Save" button at the lower left of the settings screen.
