Hello! I'm really new in terms of how tagging and editing should work; despite using e621 for a while, I made an account only recently.

That being said, one thing I noticed and felt I needed to ask about instead of wagering my best guess relates to Fox Lightning. I notice his character in some art, but the character isn't tagged. Is this because he didn't want his character tagged, or is it because no one has gone through and made the tag?

nobody simply has changed the tag type

edit: also the tag should be fox_lightning, not the foxlightning tag everyone seems to use

The way you say that makes it sound like anybody could change the tag type. Would I be able to do that? If so, I'll collect as many of the posts as I can into the tag and add some kind of description about the character, if a tag page hasn't already been made.

yeah, anyone can change tag types. im not sure how it works for standard users now tho, it was recently changed and i only know the old metatag method (and im still permitted to use the metatag since im privileged)

Basically, users that are under privileged have to go to the tag page, and hit "edit" next to a tag to change the typing. Privileged and up stay the same and can change it via metatags.

@siikaprinssi, did you already beat me to it? It looks like all the posts I was trying to get have been added in to the Fox_Lightning tag.

yeah i went thru them and scripted them under the correct tag
