Does Pokemon with dragon element really need the dragon tag? because physically most of them doesn't really look like dragon.

...according to Nintendo logic. However, we use tag-what-you-see, so we tag it the other way around.

When a franchise has weird species naming rules it's better to use a special tag to separate it from everything else.

People tagging dragon on pokemon with the typing but no physical dragon qualities are mistagging and tagging based on outside information, aka not following the TWYS standards this site has. Unfortunately this is common so we just need to keep fixing it and, if need be, report the people who are mistagging and/or deliberately tagging based off of outside info.
