I see a lot of posts with Kindred from League of Legends. I don't see a lot of them being tagged with a species tag of Sheep for her. Is there some consensus that she is not a sheep or is this an oversight?

she doesnt look like a sheep in many pics. if character does not look sheep at all, they probably should not be tagged as sheep

She's called Lamb, actually, Kindred is the name for both characters together.
That said, she's a goat more accurately in a lot of ways so.

She has white fur, hooves, sheep ears, sheep tail, and her name is Lamb. What does a sheep look like to you?

you know, more like this
the character looks way more like a goat to me since the character has shortish straight fur instead of tightly curly mass of fluff
for example compare this, the sheep i linked earlier and this
the character resembles the goat far more than the sheep. also the name does not affect on species tagging. i could make a frog character and call him cat.

Yeah she's definitely a goat.

Honestly I'd say 'demon' if it was up to me, but I still think she is supposed to be a lamb and hence a sheep

You're thinking of her name, not her appearance. That's the appearance of a goat, with the long ears and whatnot.
And you can't just call it a demon just because you disagree with the preexisting real species tag, as there's a preexisting real species tag that it fits under perfectly.

To be specific she's based off of (I'm sure) a Gulabi Goat

So. Sheep and goats are both part of the subfamily Caprinae. Both Goat, sheep and ibex are part of the tribe Caprini.
(For comparison on that, "Felidae" is a family. "Patherinae" is a subfamily that includes Pathera and neofelis--big cats and clouded leopards)
Sheep and goats are closely related-- and can, actually, interbreed--though it's rather rare (Here, have a picture ) ...(They're infertile, though! The most recent Geeps (or shoats, if you like) were born this last February in Ireland to a goat named Daisy. The babies were named This and That.)
Sheep are generally members of the genus "ovis"... so here are some sheep:
Liek dogs, there are many breeds: Here's a suffolk and a Awassi ... and a Barbados black Bely and a Bentheimer Landschaf ... Here's a Border Leicester ... I love the Greyface Dartmoor ... here's a Heidschnucke Which, yes, is still a BREED of sheep. The Manx Loaghtan ... okay, enough sheep breeds, back to sheep species:
meanwhile.. Let's look at some goats! :D
Here is an Angora goat ... and another because I fucking love those goats -- they're kept for their fur-- called mohair! They're a BREED of goat. So is the Australian Cashmere goat The Dutch Landrace is my new fursona. A pygora goat
Which is to say.... goat and sheep are closer than people thing. We jsut have a very clear idea of what we think a sheep or a goat.
AS for Kindred... She's not a sheep or a goat. she's a caprine jsut like any generic canine would be a canine. :)
