Just change your password to a long-ass garbled text of letters and numbers; admins do not delete accounts upon a user's whim. The whole "buyer's remorse" logic applies there.

If you don't want to use the account anymore, just stop using it. Problem solved. Asking for it to be deleted is just silly.
