Probably. It looks like peach with bowser features, even if people are saying that it's just bowser.
Edit: I guess I haven't been following this closely enough. Looks like it was ruled the other way? I don't know what I'm talking about.

We don't tag unofficial alternate species with alternate names. We don't attribute masculine or feminine names to official characters. We have tags for those. the tags are as follows: alternate_species; crossgender.
If a character is a fusion of two or more characters, we tag both characters and add the tag fusion. A fan-made name is unnecessary. "Bowsette" is fan-made. The categorization of this character is any of the prior, not a character tag. We don't make up tags to "catagorize" when the categories already exist.
This site is an art archival: standardized tags are used, to promote accurate searching. Feminizing Bowser is not standard, as most or all feminizations are aliased away. This should occur for bowsette as well, characters do not get exceptions.
This discussion could have occurred over in forum #262565.

We already have a bit of a discussion started here.

bowsette tag was removed, prob. because of something like this

I think so. Also people aren't calling her Bowser when they post their art of her.

It's literally a gender-swapped, humanoidized Bowser. That's really all that should be tagged. crossgender and alternate_species will suffice.
And the two names were already aliased to Bowser, so looks like an admin agreed.

I think we should have a bowsette or Koopahime tag. "Bowsette" doesn't look like Bowser and when I search Bowser, that's not what I'm looking for.
Yes, one could search for bowser crossgender alternate_species or humanized or whatever, but that's cumbersome and relies on everyone to get the tagging 100% correct.
Likewise, if someone searches bowsette, they won't want bowser showing up. and there's no easy "bowsette -bowser"
... honestly, she looks nothing LIKE bowser, and I would never assume that she was bowser based on appearances. I actually thought she was Peach in new clothes, or a brand new princess character of some sort.... I don't think we should tag her bowser just because she's suposedly based on bowser. I don't see it.

The problem I have with removing bowser is that it IS bowser, and if I want to see this version of bowser, the first thing I'm gonna try searching is bowser crossgender. So I don't see a problem with tagging it bowser, both in terms of TWYS and in terms of user intent. Plus, in every version I've seen of this version of bowser, she always has one of: sharp teeth, koopa shell, fire breath, BSDM wear, tail, horns. I don't see Peach IMHO. So just because you wouldn't see this...

...as bowser, doesn't mean it shouldn't be tagged bowser. What other common theme do they have other than a female humanoid bowser? I say if it's really ambiguous whether it's bowser or peach in koopa cosplay, and there isn't anything in the author comments, then it should just be tagged with both to make it easier to find.
Also, we don't have a canon name for her. What if we go with Bowsette and Nintendo decides to make a game with that character but call her something weird, like... "Shandice"? Maybe it's Bowser using the crown to get in good with the crowd while in disguise, kind of like a sheik situation. What happens to the bowsette tag then?
Also...what about the version with red hair?

Since it's technically the same character, would we have to remove bowser from that, too? Whether we did or we didn't, I think the removal of the bowser tag from any of these pics would would cause more confusion than convenience.

+1 humanoidized crossgender Bowser. The Bowsette (forum #262576), Peachser (forum #262565) and Koopahime (forum #262605) tags should be aliased to Bowser.
That said this character isn't just a humanoid female Bowser, it's meant to resemble Princess Peach. So I wouldn't be surprised or concerned if that tag showed up on these posts, too. For example post #1639707 is a Renamon meant to resemble Krystal so it's tagged as both and that's okay.
Also, the Princess_Koopa tag (forum #259371) should be aliased to Princess Peach and tagged with koopa and alternate_species.
