That is the trailer for Mad Max Fury Road. Mad Max is one of my favorite films of all time. It remains at the top of my list of the best post-apocalyptic movies, just after The Book of Eli. While on the topic of post-apocalyptic movies, I thought some might like to know that a film adaptation of The Last of Us has been confirmed. Sam Raimi is set to direct it. I suppose I should ask who you think should play Joel. I think Jon Bernthal or Woody Harrelson could be a decent Joel. What do you guys think?

I'm definitely interested in GotG. I love Marvel movies, and that looks great.

How about Antman?

There's also talk of a Black Panther movie, though no solid date yet.
Hope it gets made, that has the potential for a solid movie.

Michael Bay's Evangelion movie.

That is, if it even exists and is not just a rumour.

Dumb and Dumber 2 and possibly Guardians of the Galaxy, but Dumb and Dumber I'm gonna watch for sure.

Guardians of the Galaxy looks fun.

50 Shades of Gray. I always enjoy terrible movies.

Though this one will probably be unbearable.

I'm 100% certain that movie's getting an X rating. It's essentially a porno.

This? A porno? According to the book: I saw harder stuff when I was 12 <.<

I freaked when I heard Mad Max 4 was finally coming out. Now I'm worried that it won't be any good (but not very).

I can't actually remember the last movie I saw in theatres and enjoyed past Hot Fuzz, I think. I've never been excited about a movie before :)

Youtube has... well, disagreeable copyright policies.

So movies aren't allowed there, among other things.

Okay, I can explain.

Yes, Michael Bay ruined the Transformers franchise. Yes, Neon Genesis Evangelion needs a live action movie, and even though in Bay's movies there are GAPING plot holes, I think that it's either Michael 'Explosion' Bay or no-one. Literally, nobody else will make an Evangelion movie.

And even though it will most likely turn out to be shit, I'll watch it purely because of NGE.

I'm in for the Guardians Of The Galaxy, as for the Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies... well, I read The Hobbit when I was 12 and loved it, but The Desolation of Smaug kinda dissapointed me at the end (Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the part of Smaug, but then they cut it XD).
The rest of things I see when they come out and watch them or not.

I decided I would watch Guardians of the Galaxy with my friend when I first saw its trailer because it looked fun. I'll see the next Hobbit movie too, but I think the trilogy has jumped the shark. I watched The Lord of the Rings movies many, many times at home, but I'm not interested in rewatching the Hobbit movies. I even forgot we're on to the third movie! Other than that, I don't really know what's coming up.

The last movie I truly enjoyed was Ender's Game, then District 9 (omg), and then probably Pirates 3. Honorable mention to Enemy for reproducing the experience I get from reading a decent short story psychological thriller, which I only figured out was its objective by the final, spine-tingling scene. Also, spider vagina.

YouTube is like junk food: indulgent and excess. A good YouTube viewing experience does not compare to that of a good multi-million dollar production. Movies actually have a hope in hell of achieving immersion whereas YouTube has more bias toward engagement. Movies are actually profitable in the real world whereas YouTube content creators earn a pittance for their time and effort. It's essentially mature versus amateur. Regardless, I'll do them both, flaws and all.

Could it be any worse than NGE? I had to! The only parts I liked from NGE were the good sci-fi/tech details and the fights not ruined by whining.

Granted, Shinji was a very whiny person. But would anyone else, you or I, act any differently in his situation?

Being one of the few people saving humanity while juggling teenage angst and mental health problems? I'd be whiny too!

Heh... I thought I'd be the only one saying none... but, I guess not.

Seriously, I hate movies nowadays. Everything looks fake, and none call my attention. Also, the cinemas became extremely overpriced... at least where I live.

Honestly, MM4 is my personal last gasp for the theatres. The current mix of CG superimposed over things gets my uncanny-valley sense tingling and vaguely reminds me of bad 50s B-movies, and paying over $20 to watch nearly a half-hour of previews for much of the same in a noisy, crowded environment does not appeal to me. Hate is a word that I could use.

Edit: I realize this is an unpopular opinion.

Agree with you on the CGI. It should be a means to an end, not the whole point of the movie.

Yes, exactly. CG can be such a wonderful tool for creating an entire fantastical world and filling it with vibrant characters, and it's been demoted to just filling in the gaps or creating some sort of caveat to base a plot around. I've loved computer animation ever since I saw the 'Mind's Eye' series as a child, and I just loathe seeing it so roundly disrespected and abused.

I'm waiting for Blacker than Nigth, which is a remake of the original of 1975.
