Topic: Identical Tag confliction question

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

So I'm sitting on an image I have had for a while for a Custom Species ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/24316741/ SFW because the NSFW is a bit fetish-y). I'm hesitant to upload it though because apparently the name for the species (both Singular and plural permutations) already exists! one is apparently a Star Wars race (Amaran) and the other is evidently a Character name (Amaranth)

I try usually to do a little research before tagging to make sure I'm not accidentally doing those kinds of conflicts, but I'm unsure how to proceed on this.
Will tagging Species:Amaranth bypass the character name and create a separate species tag? will I need to tag with something like Species:Amaran_(Kilø) or Species:Amaranth_(Kilø) (Kilø being my tag here) to differentiate the two?

I'm hesitant to proceed before I have the proper info, but I also really do want to be able to upload the art, I have more pieces than that one.

Updated

The unicode is kind of bad, it may be better to just use (kilo) or even (species) for them.

To answer your question, though, trying to change the tag type will not create a second tag, it will just change the type of the existing ones.

This is why I ask these kinds of questions, that would've been bad XD

I didn't actually think to use the (Species) addendum in-tag. seeing as the character with the name came first I think that's probably appropriate and I'll go with that.
