Topic: new tag, strange request

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

I realize this is somewhat of an unorthodox post, but I would like to set up a couple tags for a character that, as of yet, has no art. I'll explain more in a bit, but basically, I want to save people a lot of effort and prevent a lot of easy-to-make mistakes.

Season 4 of BoJack Horseman came out last Friday, and in it is a character with a really long, complex name. I expect (hope) that she will be getting a lot of art, and in order to make sure no one messes up her tags, I wanted to make them before any art appears.

Her name -- verified by the subtitles -- is (in tag form):
Character:Hollyhock_Manheim-Mannheim-Guerrero-Robinson-Zilberschlag-Hsung-Fonzerelli-Mcquack_(BoJack_Horseman)

To aid in the tagging endeavors, I want Character:Hollyhock_(BoJack_Horseman) to be an alias for her, so people can tag her with the shorter tag, but that way the longer one still appears in the image tags.

I would do it myself, but I don't know how, can't find any buttons or anything that would let me do it, and honestly not sure if that's even something I'm allowed to do in the first place. So if someone else could take care of it for me, that would be great.

Thanks!

Checks out, I've created the alias and set the tags to be character tags.

Please remember: If tagging them from now on the "character:" prefix is no longer required.

In that case the FAQ is out of date, as that is how it said to do it.

You only do it the first time to switch it from general type to character type. From then on it should be green and good to go.

There is only one tag for foo. If you change the tag type to character, all instances of foo are character tags. If you then change it to an artist, all instances of foo will be made an artist tag.
