It looks like vmon is a fake digimon species created by some artist that's based off of veemon:

nope not a "fakemon", same digimon, just literal translation of japanese text into latin text for the former and a translation of its name in a english dub for the latter(in the OP post).

The *Vee* in this digimon and some of its evolutions appears to simply be a result of a version of the english dubbed episodes.
the exsample croc has listed is a hybrid not the actual species
