Aliasing furry_character_wearing_fursuit → furry_wearing_fursuit
Link to alias

Reason:

Honestly this tag is incredibly hard to remember and should be used more, but Ii feel the confusing and long tag bane prevents its more common use. Ergo, I suggest this alias.

HOWEVER it could also be reverse aliased if others feel it fits better.

+1 for furry_in_fursuit.
No idea why furry_character_wearing_fursuit got implicated, that tag is clearly unnecessarily long. Not many users bother with long tags, so concise is always better.

Random question: Is there such a thing as a scalesuit or are the scalie ones still called fursuits?

From my experience they seem to just be called fursuit regardless of the animal; dragon fursuits are pretty common, especially in japanese furry communities.

just saying i feel the terminalogies containing "furry" should be changed to anthro. considering furry also stands for humans that have a fascination for anthros not just the characters. The characters also dont necessarily identify as furry, donald duck or micky mouse are anthros but not furry characters, how would they be tagged if someone drew them in fursuits for example?

regarding scalie themed suits, they still tend to be made of fur that is dyed in scale patterns to simulate scales so it would still be a fursuit, others use a skinsuit. Im not aware of a suit that has true hard plating to simulate scales or carpace for that matter

I agree with this

how do we know who is in the fursuit if they are, well, in a fursuit?

I mean if you can't tell who's in a fursuit than you just leave it without the *_in_fursuit tag
