Topic: [Feature] Random image button

Add a button that picks a random image on the website. it could use or ignore the blacklist.

Why would it be useful?

It can be pretty tiring to spend an eternity searching for something you might want at the moment so you could use the button to find out new stuff

No other part of the site is affected. it stays at the top bar.

I use the random post as a link in my bookmarks. I'd love a way to filter out posts by rating/ score, so I don't have to spam the button when nothing but low quality art comes up

Edit: Apparently it needs to be said but, generally, necroposting isn't against the rules as long as the bumping post brings relevant information in regards to the main topic. Adding an addendum to an already existing thread makes more sense to me then bloating the thread pool with redundant topics.
I only used the comment I replied to as a springboard to mention a way, to anyone who finds this, on how to search random posts in a manner that isn't currently available on the site since it's functionally different then the two methods that do exist.

Related:Random is entirely random with no way to curate it.
Using specific tags in the search bar with order:random will just display all tagged pictures at once in the same way it would if you didn't use order:random, with the main difference being what corner a post's thumbnail is located on your screen.
As finnicky as it is, adding "?tags=tag+tag+tag" to https://e621.net/posts/random in the url is the only way to get the "mystery box" aspect of Related:Random combined with the curation you get from using the search bar.

If one person like me found interest in searching random posts this way, then there's a non-zero chance of at least one other person who might also be interested.

Why are you necroing a thread to respond to a deactivated account?

for future measures of users randomly stumbling across this thread, use order:random for search

beneath tags by the side, there is a 'Random' button below 'Related' section that leads to a page of random post
