So, seems like we don't have a tag for shaved temples.
Would anyone be against creating a tag for this haircut? I know I'm not alone in finding this hairstyle good looking, and it'd be real easy to tag once you come across the subject.

I'd say nah. Shaved temples need to at least have some indication of hair being shaved in any way on the temples. That chick simply seems to not have any hair growth in that area of her scalp.

Wow, That is a gray area.
Your right because like the tag implies, there has to be some hair on the other side implying that it's been shaved. Though seeing a shaved furry in general is really rare to come by since there layer of fur and all. Is it possible you could open up the running for that kind of hair style too for this tag? One that doesn't exactly follows the role to a T but follows it enough for people not to call it out for not be exactly it ya know? (Kind of a close enough situation =)

@Notkastar Course, if other people agree with you, then it can be extended to that. I'm only worried about this possibly leading to side-leaning mohawk unintentionally being included.

Oh it was a Mohawk I was thinking of!
Thanks dude, You just answered a question I didn't even get to ask yet lolz ◠‿◠)
And That is a risk but I wouldn't be concerned dood ╹‿╹)
Mohawks are generally known for being short haired hairstyles that stick straight up into the air and at most far out something like this:

Tbh I think this tag could turn out to be something really useful for the community man n_n

I was going to say high and tight but apparently that's just one of many variations

If you're referring to shaved temples without any sort of 'hawk, in my memory that's referred to as an undercut. Usually used to describe long hair with shaved temples, or at least one shaved temple.

To describe this I think "side_shave" would be a good tag because it can be for either one or both sides shaved, it's gender neutral, and it's descriptive.
"undercut" seems to predominantly describe a male haircut, and isn't very descriptive imo.
And obviously if a wiki page was made we'd have to make it clear that the tag doesn't apply to mohawks...most mohawks are shaving more than the sides anyways...you have to shave up onto the top of the head in order to get that strip of hair down the middle.
Also, when one side of the hair is shaved off and the other side is long I've seen "asymmetrical_hair" used on other boorus.

So one vote for shaved_temple(s).
One vote for Undercut.
One vote for side_shave.
Some more opinions would nice.

+1 for "undercut". " Shaved_temple" and "side_shave" basically give a quick descripition of what is the feature in question, which (ironically) isn't a good thing because someone may easily interpret these wrong and use them for mohawk, for example. Undercut however, is a more specific term, reducing the possibility of misunderstandings.
In addition, "side_shave" is probably the worst one, since it also may be mistaken for something like this:

+1 for "undercut" because that's the only term I've heard for it IRL.

Yup, das called an undercut.

Seems like the best solution would be to use undercut, and have shaved_temples aliased to it, possibly side_shave as well, although that may not be needed.
When I got some time over I'll create a short wiki entry and do some initial tagging if none objects to that.
