No, it's just the exact tag (hearts become <3 while kingdom_hearts doen't change) or I'm not getting the joke :I

I think the reason would be depluralization. If there's more than one heart, there's still just one heart in the image (it just has friends). Like other such aliases, it wouldn't affect tags in which a word is only part of the whole. That is to say, hearts aliased to <3 won't affect Kingdom_Hearts because the system sees them as two different tags.
