I was wondering...
Can a post get deleted if it gets to much downvotes?
Because I have recently uploaded some posts and they had a good res, but 0 favs and -2 votes.

to answer the question though, no, i don't think score alone is ever enough to get something deleted.

um... those are all deleted posts and users under a certain rank can't view deleted content here. so unless your linking to the source (if there is any), i can't help you.

Usually with technical issues I do specify them and with animations sometimes try to resolve them with uploader and/or artist, as great artwork shouldn't be handicapped by technical difficulties.

Reason for this one is not technical, but artistic.

Also keep in mind that posts can contain material and subject matters that majority of users really dislike, that's why we have blacklists and subject matter should not count when approving posts. Only exception of course being if subject matter is againts guidelines, e.g. real life pornography or human only artwork.

With this in mind, even if the cheese grater image was posted today, it would be accepted, because artistic quality is really great. There was really well done flash animation about rape scene which is getting heavily downvoted and I'm actually thankful of first commenter for explaining why that is to artist and others.

Then on the opposite end, just because post has some subject matter doesn't justify it's quality. Having a thing for big breasts, polygons, penises that look detached from body and bodies that seem to be made out of claydoh, doesn't mean that the post is acceptable.

this is a 3d sonic model you found then slapped on a pair of breasts, a small pink thing to make it look like it has a pussy and the same for the male parts. isn't it? i can tell because pretty much everything from the neck down looks nothing like sonic aside from the colors and shoes. o_O what'd you do to his ass?

kinda hard to criticise the eyes since mono-eye there technically has only one eye. why, sega? why?! all i can say to that is that the eyes are a 2d texture that looks flat and picks up glare from the lighting easily. (well, at least it's not eyes that look nightmarish due to bad lighting/reflections)

you clearly have and can do much better than this page you linked. i would advise posting your better work and leaving things of this quality behind.

Oh, r-really!? So that means they're going to delete the shadow/tails, silver/shadow and amy ones!? 😱
