This doesn't make sense why post something that barely have any differences, I get it when the picture is small but when it's almost exactly the same it doesn't make sense. 2. The image you uploaded has bad jpg compression, so it is indeed inferior.

Not every thread has to be locked. It's mostly to prevent vandalism on important announcements or to prevent threads where pointless virtual slap-fights are in progress or extremely likely to occur. Otherwise it's just one more thing a mod has to do

This is an art archival site, with the purpose of hosting furry art of the highest available quality as long as its not DNP. Superior versions are the ones being kept almost always, which means even the tiniest difference in quality or size between 2 pieces of art means that there's a superior and inferior version and as such the inferior will be deleted.

o_O if those big black things on her head are supposed to be cat ears then...why have normal human ears as well? beyond that and the eyes it looks human to me. might, might not get deleted if replaced...maybe?

Updates don't get deleted, even if they're not_furry. This one's fine regardless, cat headbands are enough to qualify, plus this character has slit_pupils.

There's always a distinct possibility that whoever's handling the approvals doesn't notice that it's a better version. So whenever uploading those, make sure to flag and parent them asap.
