Are you saying "it's a mix" in the sense that the posts currently tagged with pec_grasp should be tagged with either holding_pec or pec_grab, or in the sense that the scope of pec_grasp should be somewhere in between holding_pec and pec_grab?

I don't think there's a useful difference between grasping and grabbing in this context. I see a relatively-clear difference between hand_on_(bodypart) and (bodypart)_grab: hand_on_(bodypart) just implies they're in contact (likewise foot_on_(bodypart) or tentacle_on_(bodypart) etc); (bodypart)_grab is a subset where pressure is being exerted (as shown by indentations on the body part, the finger/toe/tail/whatever shape suggesting muscles under tension, etc).

Apart from detailed animations or possibly comics, it's rarely going to clear exactly how forceful a grab/grasp/hold/whatever is supposed to be. But "grab" is better established in every other case but this.

The former sense, I presume, since pec_grasp seems to contain a lot of posts that should be under holding_* instead of *_grab.

Okay, so, the upshot is you want somebody to go through pec_grasp and replace it with holding_pec (for own pec) or pec_grab (for another's)? And then alias it after that?

Or alternately, it could be aliased to hand_on_chest, as per your suggestion.

If it's aliased to either holding_pec or pec_grab, it'll likely result in future mistags.
