Should they actually follow through on this, it can only result in copious amounts of lulz.
No offense to any juggalos out there, but ICP are kinda "meh" (my cousin liked them and so I would hear their stuff secondhand) and honestly, a really odd choice of target for Westboro when there's better targets out there like atheist rapper, Greydon Square, that they could be going after (and inadvertently giving more advertisement to by protesting them). Greydon and the rest of the Grand Unified atheist hip hop crew could certainly use the exposure a WBC protest would bring them.
I like this line from the article...
"this festival (The Gathering of the Juggalos) is a haven for inappropriate sexual activity."
I wonder if anyone has ever tipped them off to the existence of furcons, and what their reaction was.
Honestly, Westboro are so much of a joke I have no idea why they keep going... Fuhrer Fred died, most of the younger members are leaving the church after waking up from their brainwashing, and the only person left around to "take the reigns" is Steve Drain, who is a total putz, and Shirley Phelps-Roper, who is a woman, and by the rules of the Bible, shouldn't be preaching or teaching anyone anything anyway.
I honestly think that Westboro has actually done the complete opposite of what they set out to do, like, people look at WBC and think "I don't want to be like >those< assholes," so by doing what they do, they actually create more sympathy for the LGBT community with their silly little protests and clown antics.
Anywho... may as well make this post have some kind of purpose, so here is the "game" part of the thread...
If Westboro ever picketed a furry convention you were going to attend, what would your "picket sign" say?
