So I posted an image of her recently and noticed the tag demona_(gargoyles) was no longer a character tag...just a normal tag. Also I noticed I could not set it back to a character tag.

Likewise brooklyn_(gargoyles).

The reason why you can't change them is that posts with > 100 posts require janitor+/mod+(?) privileges to change the tag type. IIRC it has partly to do with performance (but I might be wrong), but is a pretty good protection to not mess with fairly established tags either way.
EDIT: This is why I want tag type history (unless admins already got such a feature), can't remember if I ever posted that in the Feature Request Thread.

Well...if it has a 100+ posts associated with it then it must have happened a while ago because I don't really see anyone with mod or janitor credentials changing them from character tags to normal tags and just leaving it at that. I have to assume the change happened recently, because some of the posts are recent and I would have thought it would get caught then.
