Is there any way to see when and who changed the type of a tag? For example some fool changed boss to a character tag. So before changing it back, we should figure out which post is supposed to have a character named Boss.

This would also help resolve the issue where an artist named like rogerwall has a few dozen posts and then someone tags their sona in another artist's post, changing rogerwall to a character tag. It just creates a big mess and I see it happen frequently.

It'd be great to have a way to see the history of the type changes on a tag itself too, without having to check the full tag history

Maybe a Type History section or something in the wiki section for the relevant tag

Thank you! It looks like an uploader typed in char:boss sergal instead of char:boss_sergal about 1 year ago. How fragile it all is...

Could an admin change the boss tag type back to general?

That can only happen with tags that have less than a hundred posts, though, so the mess is never THAT bad.

And it is usually noticed early. I've changed a few myself simply by untagging enough posts to get under hundred. Easy fix, as long as you don't lose track of the posts that need to be retagged.

Another reason it may be useful to have a dedicated tag type history page, is to avoid cases like these
