Topic: Porn regrets?

Posted under Off Topic

So I just heard about a teen who starred in porn only once, got paid then regretted doing it. Now the company removes videos of it wherever it's posted. And I was wondering did they legally have to do that? I mean she did consent to it and she got paid so I don't see why they would have to take it down. Right?

They probably wouldn't be obligated to do so unless it was part of the agreement/contract. "You can request it being taken down after 2 years", or something of that nature.

Well, if they were a teen starring in it, the company is legally required to remove them where it pops up, due to underaged porn being illegal.

Otherwise, it's a matter of courtesy.

I doubt they would be legally obligated to do it, unless the contract said otherwise. Taking it down is likely either for courtesy to avoid negative publicity which may discourage people from starring in their porn in the future.

18 and 19 year olds are still teens, but they're legal. Some "teen porn" even has actors in their early twenties, so long as they still look young enough.

It wasn't underage. She was 18. So I'm guessing it was a courtsey.

But jeez. I wonder why a bunch of girls haven't been doing just that then? I mean she said they paid her thousands of dollars to do that and then she just gets to have them take it down. Just seems kind of exploitable.

People will still have their personal copies. You are not legally allowed to force a person to return their own copies. And that person can show it off to others, still.

Yeah but that's still less money for the porn company, more money for you and less people would see your video from the millions of other videos that are out there.
