Topic: Someone artist'd the hunger tag.

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

Looking at the posts with the hunger tag, I assume it was previously used for the obvious meaning. It seems like someone changed it to an artist tag though, and I'm not sure how to revert it.

Help?

Help?

type general:hunger in the tags

as long as a tag doesn't have too many posts, you can change the tag's type to general, species, character, or artist.

Ah, cool. I knew about that, but thought a new method had replaced it.
Thanks!

Technically you can also use edit mode in the tag tool, but most people seem to find using the prefixes (gen:tag, copy:tag, etc.) easier so I doubt it gets used much.

I checked hunger wiki and loled.
I also retagged one pic to hunger_(artist).
Probably this tag should be aliased to hungry.

I agree. So now that the artist has been safely found and tagged out, hunger is aliased to --> hungry.

I also looked into this artist. Thanks to image searching, I found their pixiv. "Hunger" as a name for them either came from the old method of using their login name (which we don't do anymore) or from translating their name (which we also avoid doing) instead of transliterating it. So I aliased ふんがー (which is their pixiv display name) and hunger_(artist) to --> funga (the transliteration of their name) so that any future uploads of their art should go a lot more smoothly when tagging them.
