Do we have tag, for when somebody uses sex toys, on somebody else.

Searching for holding_sex_toy -solo kinda works, but that tag isn't widely used.

Holding_sex_toy just doesn't really fit the "using it on somebody else" description. Even though it contain many images that fit the description. It would be nice with something more definitive.

I suspect a new tag will be needed.

Using_sex_toy may be the simplest tag, but it likely not quite specific enough. Pleasuring_with_sex_toy might do it better?

I know this isn't exactly what you are looking for, but insertion sex_toy -solo should narrow it down a bit at least. penetration sex_toy -penis might pull out a bunch more if you don't mind excluding penises.

Unfortunately many of the posts that should have insertion only have penetration; if I wasn't already in the middle of one I'd suggest a tagging project, but I won't be able to help for a couple days.

Same number of characters, but 2-4 times as many underscores. ;)

There especially needs to be something for males given pegging doesn't cover it.

The problem is that any "noun-only" will either get not specific enough (sex_toy_usage) or just weird (sex_toy_application, assuming people think it's actually unambiguous). I'm pretty sure going down to a single underscore is impossible. Going to two would be a challenge already. since we basically need soemthing in two words ("sex_toy"being essentially a single word)

We could alias sex_toy_on_partner to --> sextoy_on_partner to handle the fact we're leaving an underscore out with the spelling. Shouldn't be too big of a deal while still keeping it shorter than some alternatives.
And it is more specific than using_sex_toy, which could so easily be confused for use by themselves as well as by a sex partner.
It also avoids specifying any particular sex toy and limiting it that way.

Anyways, I think it's an option that could work.

I think that is a pretty good option, though I'm not sure how much I like omiting the underscore if we have a choice (I'd prefer that over having 3 underscores though), if only because it creates a second form (since sex_toy is the currenty used form).

What about toying_partner? We could even couple it with toying_self to give an extra option for masturbation when it isn't solo.

I really like that idea. It's even shorter as a tag. It verbs it, but I think it's understandable and should be fairly clear to use. And it does avoid creating a spelling inconsistency with "sextoy" vs "sex_toy" etc (they are aliased so it's not a big deal, but it is nice to keep consistencies between tags wherever possible). I also like the idea of toying_self as a counterpart tag.

So yeah, I'd vote for that one.

Good ones. But how would I go about blacklisting it one way over another? I would like to blacklist toys being used on males but wouldn't mind toys being used on females. And would domination need to be implied?

I don't think there's a good answer to this. Other than pegging and female_domination, the number of really gender-specific acts tagging-wise is pretty limited. Still, there are a few ways you should be able to minimize the chance of coming across it:

toying_self -female, {if toying_self is present there is at least one female present

toying_partner -female, {if toying_partner is present there is at least one female present

pegging, {very specific to a female using a strapon on a male

gay, {if you haven't already blacklisted this 

You can copy this as is (with the notes and everything) or edit it. The comma is another way to make a new line, the bracket doubly makes sure that the line will never apply to any search.

These won't help with male/female pairs, but you might be interested in these as well:

male solo sex_toy, {This will rarely apply if you aren't interested in males

male solo masturbation -humor, {jokes sometimes include this. You can omit the -humor part if you prefer not to see any of these

I'm inclined to say yes for dildo sitting (I think it will get tagged that way anyways), but I'm not sure about the vibrator since it is just kind of placed and...well I wouldn't really call that toying.

So people pretty much seams to agree on toying self and toying partner. I even went ahead and tagged a couple myself.

I'd go with option A. It keeps it simple for searches since it is both toying_self and toying_partner at the same time, and by tagging it that way it will show up in both types of searches as well as showing up when people search for both. Option C seems like tag clutter as far as breaking up searches more than necessary. And option B is maybe co-taggable with toying_self and toying_partner on those images (less sure about that one).
