By now I assume most of us are pretty familiar with ze dragon dick. Or more like scalie dick in general, but mostly prevalent on dragons.
Some artists just give them a tapering penis like a dolphin's, some a canine_penis or equine_penis, but since dragons in particular are supposed to be fictional, people are basically allowed to go nuts when creating their junk and that often leads to some interesting shapes. Ridges, barbs, knots, random bulges, spade heads, tapering heads, humanoid heads, horsecock heads... sometimes an entire smörgåsbord of features that are usually seen only one at a time on regular ol' cocks, except now all at once. Or other times they're just... kind of weird lawl.
The thing is, even at their most zany they're almost always clearly a penis, and also tend to maintain some sense of believable useability without inflicting horrible injuries on the receiving party. So how do we tag these, if that's what we want?
I mention those two elements because I noticed one user lately was adding unusual_penis to some of them. According to that tag's wiki it's only supposed to be used for really weird penises (penii?) (peniiiiii?), the kind that requires a doctor's second opinion to even be confirmed as a dick, or ones that are still moderately recognizable but could potentially serve as a weapon of mass destruction:
So I basically told him he was doing it wrong, but he then rightfully claimed he didn't know what else to tag them with. And I could also see why he'd imagined unusual_penis to be the right kind of tag, since it sounds very very mellow for its supposed content, which I would say starts about... here:
Perhaps that tag would be better off with a -> bizarre_penis alias as to better underline its purpose, but I digress.
Now, I usually just tag your typical draconian shlong by summing up all the separate features I see, like ridges, barbs, knots etcetera, which can result in upwards of five tags used to describe one dick, and that's before any potential size tags like thick_penis. Functional, but can be a bit cluttery. At least when said dick is clearly a mix of two animal_penises with little else added on (like a knotted horsecock or a cetacean penis with a few barbs) I can just use hybrid_penis. That's a nice, slighty more encompassing and descriptive tag, but those kinds of genitals are kind of rare.
So for anything that's not a real cock nor a simple hybrid cock, but a little bit of everything with some artistic freedom sprinkled on top, this "fantasy dick" if you will, shouldn't there actually be something that makes them immediately searchable?
And if so, what would we call it? Also important: at what point would we start tagging it, because there are many scalies with a penis that is in some ways unique but can still be like 90% traced back to a basic animal shape. Like this:
That's a canine penis with a slightly different head and a more humanoid underside (frenum, bulging corpus spongiosum). It looks considerably more 'tame' than the samples at the start of this post, but those few points where it deviates from a true-to-life canine penis still makes it a fantasy design, technically. So would that be enough for our undecided-on taggie to apply if it sprouts from a scalie?
I don't know, because I've seen canines with this exact design and it would still be tagged a canine penis, even if that's not 100% accurate. Still, it's understandable since it very much resembles one.
Anyways, if possible I'd like to hear some opinions! :3
