yeah at least the mother implication needs to be removed. only few of those images have any kind of proof that the depicted character is a mother.

Well, by concept, the implication is right. Imo, it's quite mis-tagged because right now, it is on posts that depict a well-known mother with large breasts...

no it not. people are using milf tag to tag curvy mature women with big breasts. there is not necessarily any implications in the image that the character is a mother

Invalid_tag is getting kind of bloated. Isn't there anywhere else it could be aliased to? ...female? Maybe not. Milf might get tagged for cuntboys, etc.

There's also a couple of other tags that should go in the same pile: dilf and gmilf/gilf.

I agree the tag can be subjective, when it is used improperly. I think it should really only be applied when there is a character with an established motherhood.

When applied to established characters that are known to be mothers I don't see how the tag is invalid. Using Mature as a tag is just as subjective as far as I can tell; there is no way to accurately determine age and what age is the threshold for mature?

I dislike many things about the milf tag.

One is that it assumes that it is odd for a mother to be sexy? That the standard state for mothers is "do not want that", and then sexy is the exceptional.

Besides that, the tag is just way too subjective. It's like the "sexy" tag. The sexiness of a picture is something people should determine for themselves, not have tagged onto a picture.

It's also a composite of other tags. As mentioned, mother, [big_breasts]]... You can just search for those if you want... but even then, half the time it is tagged on characters that there is no indication that they are mothers.

So yeah. A ton of reasons I think it's a bad tag.

deimplicate milf -> mother
alias milf -> mature_female (not just mature)
implicate mature_female -> female

Anybody who searches milf gets the posts they want. It's not like they want to see a kid in the background when they search milf. They want older females. mature_female is closer to being objective (like young). mature_female instead of mature keeps milf search continuity.

I agree here. A mature_woman tag is necessary. Add mature_man, and we've got something good.

I do, however, ask that gmilf and gdilf/gfilf remain as is. Since the elderly are generally not erotic, such tags would be more objective. Not completely objective, but objective enough for it to be useful for searching and blacklisting.

That, or rename them to something similar, like erotic_grandma/erotic_grandpa or erotic_elderly_woman/erotic_elderly_man.

My vote has only been to invalidate the milf (and later, dilf) tags.

Your argument is invalidated by the fact that the acronym MILF contains the word "mother" regardless of how you want to imply the overall meaning of the acronym in total, the simple fact is it refers to a woman who has had a child. It's not applicable in any other sense, which is what I was trying to convey. Simply pasting the milf tag on any image of a woman with big breasts and wide hips is misusing the tag as far as I am concerned. Characters with an established parentage should be given the tag, not just any image someone subjectively believes has a mother in it.

Yes, but the other half of the acronym "I'd Like to Fuck", IS subjective. First off, not all of us are straight, or at least bi. Anything under milf would already be blacklisted for me, for the simple fact that I blacklisted females. You can't want to fuck something that you've blacklisted because you're gay.
