Topic: Things between anthro and animal_ears. Is there a tag for them?

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

Did a few quick searches, and apparently there was a Manga called +anima where the +anima are "Humans with animal traits." Image searching seems to show that they don't always have the animal parts, but it's still a closer term than anything else I'm aware of. We could use anima for anything with "Obvious human and non-human traits mixed together" and just move the other four images over (One being the Final Fantasy summon, two being a different character, and the fourth leaving me to wonder why the hell it's even tagged that).

Monster_girl used to be the category for those, but some users objected to it because it has 'girl' in the name. So tags such as dragon-kin got created to try to replace monster_girl, but I'm not sure how well that's working out.

There's gijinka, but I don't know if we should tag that more. Most folks here probably aren't familiar with the term.

General: gijinka

A specific type of humanization that superficially resembles really well-done cosplay.

Necropostmancing to say that animal humanoid seems to be the agreed in-between for 'human + anthro', closer to human

I'm collecting relevant body-style + gender topics into one place

See forum #184444 for more temp info

Also, even though I updated the gijinka wiki to state that it could be aliased to animal_humaniod as well, not really sure if we should keep it to differentiate between western and eastern anthropomorphication styles

Such as kemono and kemonomimi

I haven't heard of that one, but animal_humanoid is probably where that would go afaict.
