SUP NERDS!

So I've been getting into american comics recently and I'm having a blast.

list of comics I'm reading

IDW TMNT
wonder woman
spidergirl
saga
batman
spider woman
Dead Pool

It's really fun to see the different art styles and how the stories from other characters mess together.

Whats you're comic book list if you have any and what company do you like better DC or Marvel? (please don't start a war. Please.)

Back in grade school, I was reading Stephen King novels. Does that count as nerdy?

To be honest I'm not really a "big bang theory" stereotypical nerd (despite wearing glasses!), but I'm more of a gamer nerd, also I'm a sucker for genuinely good technology!

I wish I was a comic Nerd, but I've only read a few comics...sadly.

- Agent Venom
- Marvel Civil War
- Age of Ultron
- Marvel Zombies
- Arkham Knight
- Batman DC Villain Origins
- Carnage comics

and some others I don't remember.

Anyways I like both equally, Marvel seems to have the power but not the story...while I feel DC has the story but not the power (I like personally).

Marvel and DC favorites (+ one image character): Blue Beetle, Batman, Catwoman, Raven, Redhood, Martian Man Hunter, Moon Knight, Deadpool, Agent Venom, Scarlet Witch, The Dark Pheonix, Spiderman, and Spawn.

I really need to look into spawn. My mom strangely enough *she has no interest in the comic world* had a spawn movie that I watched as a kid and I loved the violence in it. I don't remember his powers or anything I just remember a lot of blood.

I wish more of those were translated. So many well-written comics (especially anthro comics) that rest of the world are missing out on. Donjon by Lewis Trondheim is one of my favorites. What little of it has been translated, anyway.

As for U.S. comics, I like Preacher and Bone

Also seconding those.
And I'll throw in Transmetropolitan, Sandman, Top 10, Doom Patrol, Chew, The Authority, and Fables as some of other my favorites. Saga is also good, I just wish there were... more of it.

Pretty much any Eisner Award winner is worth reading.

It's been some time since I last read them, but:

  • Dominic Deegan (humans and humanoids)
  • Star Power (humans and aliens; superhero)
  • Dan And Mab's Furry Adventures (furry)
  • Vreakerz (furry, demons)

And a whole list if others I've forgotten.

Dude where did you locate X-Men? I want to see Katt's dragon in all his glory :)

...MLP's IDW comics.

Sadly, I'm horribly out of date. I'm only up to the first dozen issues.

I've never liked superhero stuff, so I'm not that type of nerd, I'm more of a game nerd and a useless information nerd. I do read manga though.

Every since naruto ended i haven't read a weekly manga, the only mangas that i'm ready are drifters and saint seiya next dimension and those have very irregular release schedules.

Idk if this counts as nerdy, but: League of Legends is my life

Never played it a day in my life. I only vaguely know about it through porn.

Well if you enjoyed League of Legends porn, Ahri has the most.

I remember that movie, people said it was awful...but I guess it would be nostalgia for me to like it, cause I thought it was wonderful with its effects during the time.

But you should check Spawn, he's awesome as hell!

I can only remember the last two comics I read.

Fables is a pretty good read until the writer starts pushing his political beliefs into the comic every now and then.

The Walking Dead is a pretty good read until you realize that the art gets worse by every issue and that Robert Kirkman is a second rate writer.

Ugh. I'm so done with that series. I wish the walking dead would drop dead.

Honestly the show should've ended last year...I mean like the momentum for me at least, feels dead now. The wait and time surely kills.
