Aliasing semi_naked → partially_clothed

Same thing, along with semi_nude

If you look at their tag histories, semi_naked and semi_nude were used to tag topless and bottomless (pictures were certain clothing is completely removed), but partially_clothed is used for when clothing is pulled to the side (but not completely removed).

I think that could work. The only problem I can think of is that they could be confused with mostly_nude, but since they have a history of being tagged for half-dressed (and not mostly_nude), going ahead and aliasing them to half-dressed probably makes sense.

I'm going to go -1. I'm unwilling to see aliased tags that are not in use and don't seem all that likely to be used.

...I've been wondering about how useful that trio is.
I mean, I can see users searching for either bottomless or topless. But having a tag that's basically 'bottomless or topless, doesn't matter which' seems... Eh. Does anyone ever actually search for half-dressed?

I think semi_naked should be aliased to semi_nude, and half-dressed should be sorted through to remove the tag and replace with a more appropriate tag. Topless and bottomless are very helpful, mostly_nude is its own category (Wearing accessories only, no tops or bottoms), and partially_clothed is also in its own category (Wearing a top and bottom, but is revealing naughty bits regardless, usually by being pushed aside.

half-dressed is implied from both topless, and bottomless, as those both literally imply half of the subject as exposed. Those implications could be dropped in favour of semi_nude, but there are only (3) images with this tag, so it sounds like an exercise in semantics only.

I like the sound of mostly_nude, for when fully nude just is not right. I need to utilize this tag more. As examples, for those wearing only:

socks and a smile?
garter and a grin?

I'm currently nuking half-dressed and looking into moving most of these smaller tags to partially_clothed. I'll update this post when I've got it all sorted out and summarize the changes.

(don't worry, I won't change any tag over 10 posts other than half-dressed without discussing it here first).

I've been cheerfully using it because it's just an exceedingly convenient tag.

I've made the following changes:

• Alias: partially_dressed -> half-dressed (deleted)
• Alias: partially_undressed -> half-dressed (deleted)
• Alias: partially_dressed -> partially_clothed (approved)
• Alias: partially_undressed -> partially_clothed (approved)
• Implication: bottomless -> half-dressed (deleted)
• Implication: topless -> half-dressed (deleted)
• Alias: half-dressed -> clothed (temp approved) - To clear out tag
• I moved all half-dressed -topless -bottomless to partially_clothed first
• Implication: bottomless -> partially_clothed (pending)
• Implication: topless -> partially_clothed (pending)
• Alias: several -> half_naked (approved) - These are just some empty tags to keep them all together for the time being.

• mostly_nude, mostly_naked, almost_nude (currently invalidated), almost_naked
• mostly_nude might work. Implying it to partially_clothed is my currently thought.
• half_naked, half_nude, semi_nude, semi_naked (the later two probably won't be an issue anymore, it was only being tagged by one person as far as I could tell)
• These could probably be aliased to partially_clothed
• half-dressed should probably be aliased to partially_clothed instead, but I haven't moved it yet.

My thoughts:

• partially_clothed <- half_naked?

TLDR: Nuked half-dressed and dropped the bottomless/topless implications (which were the majority of tags it had). There are still some pending ones, but they seem fairly straightforward.
