I'm not an artist but i do have art of my Fursona and before i decide to upload any art i just need to know parsay how exactly do the tags work on here?....

i know for the most part of how tagging works just wondered if when tagging an artist or a character do i do this for example pizzafur(artist)

Be warned, tagging is e621s and e926s crown jewels. Vandalism of any kind is taken very seriously. Remember! Outside sources take no part in tagging.

When tagging, just type "art:pizzafur" and it will list you as an artist

To make it an artist/character tag, you'll need to type artist: or char: before the tag. You'll only need to do this once, though.

There's also copy: for copyright tags (ie. nintendo, cave story, sega) and species: for species tags (ie. canine, cat, fennec).

To make a special artist/character tag, simply put artist:pizzafur. (did i remember that correctly?) if the artist tag has been already put in, the site will recognize it. so for second images simply put pizzafur in.

Okay i'll do my best and i'll tag responsibly just got to wait a week before i can upload an image, in the meantime this will give me time to blacklist, search, and read more. thank you.
