but we do not need a tag for palm of hand. if it would cause notable amounts of mistaggings, then it should be invalidated but that is not the case because when i went through palm tag, i found only one singe time when someone had used it for anything else than palm trees.

Doesn't look like it's been tagged for hands (or maybe someone's cleaned it recently), but what about these palm fruits?

palm_fruit?

palm_tree already implies tree, but it doesn't seem like there's any non-tree usage of the tag present.

Yeah, I'm just wondering why it wasn't tagged as such to begin with. Not a common mistag, so I suppose the alias is fine.

There might be occasional mistags caused by it, but considering the low volume, it won't be anything we can't handle.
