Aliasing street_lamp → lamppost
Link to alias
Reason:
street_lamp and lamppost are synonymous, and the latter is more common.
It would be wise to alias street_light to lamppost as well.

They're not quite synonymous. I don't think the difference is enough to warrant separate tags, so I support an alias. However, "lamppost" has a connotation of being a post that exists solely for the lamp, and there are other ways to mount street lights. For example, I wouldn't call a utility pole with a lamp hanging off it a lamppost, but it would be a street light. So I would prefer an alias in the other direction: lamppost and [street_lamp or street_light] -> [street_light or street_lamp].
There is also the edge case of a lamppost that isn't near a street (in a courtyard/backyard/Narnia, which would not be a street light as such. I think it's reasonable to tag such a lamppost as a street light, since it has the design of a street light, and it's probably not worth keeping the tags separate just to account for this case.
