Reason:

Unless there's a need to make a distinction between the original Game Boy and the Game Boy series, this one is obvious.

Are all of the other Nintendo consoles, as well as Sega, Sony, and Microsoft gaming systems, already implied?

I was suggesting that the game_boy tag refers to a certain series of handheld consoles (of which gameboy_color is a part of), rather than the original Game Boy.

Maybe there needs to be a gameboy_original tag to make the distinction.

They are both technically two different things, so I see no reason to implicate them.

True, but not a whole lot of people can make the distinction anyways, unless they're looking at the screen.

Both tags are small enough that making a distinction is kind of pointless, so I changed this to an alias an approved it.

I was attempting to condense the tags, but I'm open to undoing the alias if you feel it's worth making the distinction.

That's not a bad idea. It would be especially handy when the brand of the device is ambiguous or not obvious.

For the record, I was making a joke. The Gameboy Color is literally what it says: Gameboy with color. If you really want a distinction, you can search for gameboy monochrome or gameboy -monochrome for original/color versions. Whoops looks like they never actually show the screen. More reason not to differentiate them!

The Wii U at least is a specialized Wii Mote with its own game storage.
