Topic: Tag Alias: spiked_penis -> barbs

To be honest, there's kind of a big difference between this:

and this:

Whether or not splitting it with a different tag is feasible enough to be worth it is another story (after all, we do have feline_penis already).

I agree with Parasprite, these are significantly different.

A lot of the time barbs is mainly just a surface texture and a minimal one at that. While spiked_penis seems to be trying to tag whenever it looks like actual spikes and sharp protrusions that might tear things or do actual damage to anyone who's not a fox who's insides aren't made of titanium.

I can very easily see how some people may want to blacklist the more lethal/painful looking spiked_penis images without having to also blacklist every instance of minimal barbs at the same time. And the same people who like searching things like gore might want to see some of those serious/threatening looking spikes because it's their fetish and otherwise hard to isolate from the rest. So I think we'd be better off keeping spiked_penis and barbs as separate tags. And that means -1 on aliasing them.

By the way, could you flip that barbed_penis -> barbs alias around? Currently it tends to get tagged for anything that has barbs anywhere (barbed dildos, etc), which of course leads to mistags because of that penis implication.

It'd be easier to spot if barbed_penis were the main tag.

I'm all for this. I always thought it was kind of strange that it got the alias. +1
