Reason:

Dunno if the oral_penetration has any merit over just using oral. Isn't anything tagged oral automatically a penetration in said area? ^^'

(Also maybe move the penis_in_mouth alias from oral to fellatio)

*_licking tags are oral but not usually penetration. Cunninlingus and rimming are also oral sex that do not typically involve oral_penetration.

There's also oral_insertion.

Technically fellatio would usually (but not always) fall under penetration (though it's rarely tagged that way) and dildos/tentacles/etc. will fall under oral_insertion. I'm not sure about the merit of keeping both, but it's been on my mind for a while now and it would be nice to take care of these. :P

Seems redundant to me. There's already fellatio for 'penis in mouth' (which works the same way as anal_penetration/vaginal_penetration tags) and oral_insertion for non-penis insertions.

The main reason we didn't add oral_penetration when that tag group was discussed was because it would've overlapped so much with fellatio.

Plus one to aliasing it to oral. Since oral_penetration -> fellatio would be problematic: it's been tagged a lot for autofellatio.

I'm probably to blame for quite a few oral_penetration but certainly not all. I just found the tag and thought it felt natural to use it and penis_lick/knot_lick. I found it bridging a small gap since e.g. cum_in_mouth does not always include direct mouth to penis contact but it is often tagged as oral/fellatio. Fellatio seems to sometimes be tagged when fellatio is only implied, while penis_lick and oral_penetration made that distinction easier.

So -1 for aliasing from me, mainly 'cause I personally like the oral_penetration tag and don't see it hurting anyone, but also because it actually has some validity as described, it just needs to be properly implicated. Same thing about oral_insertion.

Also -1 for moving penis_in_mouth from oral to fellatio (since it might be autofellatio, as mentioned).

Those shouldn't be tagged as fellatio, at least not by the current wiki definition. Maybe we need some kind of after_fellatio tag for obvious fellatio aftermath, similar to after_sex.

True, but it still gets tagged that way, and I think it might be hard to stop people from tagging such posts with fellatio/bj, which is why I like oral_penetration better since it is more obvious what it means. Same thing with autofellatio really, only worse, i.e. licking your own penis is autofellatio in most people's eyes. Had another point which I believe was even better but can't remember it now... Maybe I'll just have to give this one up... Even if I don't like it...

If I got to decide (which I feel I probably won't in this case) I would do something along the lines of the following:

It started out fine, however I was unsuccessful in connecting oral_insertion with oral_penetration with this model... I figured it would be nice to have the same setup as vaginal_insertion/anal_insertion without actually aliasing fellatio to/with anything, but it seems impossible to get to work.

Alias denied.

Most of the *_insertion tags are being aliased to their *_penetration equivalent as well, so it should simplify any plans we have here.
